In this easy-going event you learn exciting, funny and curious facts about the popular hot winter drink. But that’s not all: You’re going to get busy yourself, and create your very own mulled wine. In a live video chat, our sommelier will show you how it is done. You’ll make yummy red and white mulled wines – and even a glühwein on ice to cool you down!
Did you know that people already drank glühwein in ancient times to keep themselves warm?
In those days pepper, laurel and saffron were added to heated wine. The drink that we now know as glühwein was first sold in the 1950s in Augsburg.
By the way, high quality glühwein only contains a little sugar – it’s often only added in such large amounts to hide the inferior quality of the wine.

Our prices are net.
A package with the following ingredients is sent to each participant’s home:
- 4 Small bottles of wine (3x red and 1x white, of various grape varieties)
- All the essential spices (herbs, oranges, limes and rum, etc.)
- 4 Recipes
- Instructions and information about the required crockery and pots
- Optionally: Gingerbread or cookies
On request also possible on site at locations in Munich or the surrounding area!
